Apparently, Israeli Army Helicopters on the 7. October shot at civilians. A large Israeli newspaper has published pictures taken aboard one or more AH-64 Apache helicopters.
The pictures show that the helicopters shoot at all sorts of targets, including vehicles and groups of people. When the pictures were published, the Israeli military claimed to show the extermination of Hamas terrorists.
Many civilians seem to have been victims of their own shelling. Reporter Yoav Zitun from YNetnews pointed out that ground troops were passing on to helicopters. This happened via mobile phones and WhatsApp. The pilots had difficulty distinguishing between terrorists and civilians.
Israel admits that Apache helicopters have fired at their own civilians who flee from the supernova music festival. “The pilots realized that it was enormously difficult to distinguish within the occupied outposts and settlements who was a terrorist and who was a soldier or a civilian ... The rate of fire against the thousands of terrorists was initially enormous, and only at some point was it enormous. The pilots are starting to slow down the attacks and carefully select the targets.”
The pilots shot at everything that moved, possibly also on refugee Israeli festival visitors. The moving pictures show, among other things, how a fleeing car is hit by a direct hit. It is not known whether there were Israeli citizens or terrorists in the car.
Some fact-checkers claim that the pictures showed Israeli helicopters shooting exclusively at Hamas terrorists.
The first combat helicopters, which were in readiness in the region, arrived one hour after the start of the attack in the region and must have come from the north. A helicopter relaying was already stationed at the Ramon air base. A Battle Helicopter by Ramon reached the site only at 8.32 local time.
Nearly 30 combat helicopters fired their entire arsenal, including artillery shells and Hellfire missiles.
The YNet reporter also reported that the pilots initially had no idea what was going on the ground and arbitrarily chose their targets.
Some pilots decided to fire artillery bullets without first obtaining the permission of higher jobs.
It is therefore possible that many Israeli civilians have tragically killed friendly fire. The Israeli media are now beginning to ask questions.
